MAHĀ SAMPROKSHANAM - CALL FOR DONATION
On September 13, 2026, Ārsha Vidyā Āshram du Port will celebrate the Mahā Samprokṣaṇam, the great temple consecration ceremony traditionally held every 12 years.
In order for this sacred celebration to take place, preparations must begin now:
🔧 A complete renovation of the temple is required
🌸 Ritual ingredients and materials must be brought from India
We are therefore launching a call for donations and warmly invite you to support this project.

The ashram operates thanks to donations and volunteer service. Classes, cultural and religious events, as well as the maintenance of the buildings and garden, involve expenses that are covered by the association Shruti Seva Réunion.
If you would like to become a member of the association, you may contact us by email at ssrava@yahoo.fr or by phone at +262.2.62.36.71.13, or visit the ashram directly during opening hours.
You also have the opportunity to participate in seva (selfless service) by getting involved in the daily activities of the ashram or by helping with the organization of satsangs and religious ceremonies.

तमेव भान्तमनुभाति सर्वं तस्य भासा सर्वमिदं विभाति ॥
na tatra sūryo bhāti na candratārakaṃ nemā vidyuto bhānti kuto’yamagniḥ|
tameva bhāntamanubhāti sarvaṃ tasya bhāsā sarvamidaṃ vibhāti||
There, the sun does not shine, nor the moon nor the stars; nor do lightning flashes shine there—how then could fire? That shining, everything else shines. By Its light, all this is illumined.
